I’ve been on anxiety pills for the past year but three days ago I got off of them and I replaced them with yoga.
During the first two days, I felt great. I felt refreshed but on the third day the withdrawal hit in and I felt terrible. I felt down and sluggish. I had to force myself to go to my yoga session which was odd because ever since I started doing yoga I never felt like I had to put any effort to go, it was just something I knew I was going to do, no struggle.
Apparently, this is normal. I didn’t know that till the end of the day though. I’m glad it’s normal and I was relieved to hear that it wouldn’t last very long.
I’m still going to push through this.
